About Me
“Since I was a child I knew I wanted to help people.”
In my first career I worked primarily in sales and management. After 10 years I realized while I maintained a successful career I wasn't following my passion of helping people improve the quality of their lives. I decided to leave the corporate world and pursue a career as a therapist. This second career choice has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. As a psychotherapist I am able to aid others during challenging times, assisting them in creating the life they desire.
I am honored and grateful to work with others in this capacity. I am a strengths based and solution based therapist. I help my clients get a better understanding of themselves and help them identify what they really want and need to be happy. Together we set achievable goals and learn how thought and behavior patterns impact our perception of the world and our experiences.
My approach emphasizes compassion, collaboration and evidence based therapeutic techniques. In my practice I utilize evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, Gottman Couples Therapy, and Mindfulness.
